1ST SCALE - GUARAN FEEDER

We share the joy of having received on 13/March/2015 the 1st stopover of the GUARAN FEEDER line that will operate on the waterway connecting Montevideo with Paraguay.

The barge GUARAN F501 managed by Christophersen S.A. docked at Pier 8, bitts 114-120 and started operations today at 15:30hrs in the Port of Montevideo, this barge entered the port towed by the ship GF HUMAITA for loading and unloading containers in MONTECON, this Paraguayan flag barge was recently launched in Asuncion, it has a transport capacity of 500 TEU, 120 meters long and 27 meters wide.After its operation in Montevideo, it will return to Paraguay to the Port of Pilar, GF HUMAITA is a vessel of 29 meters long and 278 tons, built in 2005 and recently acquired by the Paraguayan merchant navy.
