Dear customers: It is a pleasure to greet you and once again be in contact with you, on this occasion we announce a new service that will allow you to carry out your export procedures in a more practical, safe and 24-hour availability. With this new service, it is not necessary to go previously to the Montecon Box or to make any physical transaction to enter an export container. The expenses can be paid electronically, through the main banks that operate in the market. To respond to these needs, we have developed a technological platform that allows us to offer online services, eliminating the use of paper documents and reducing operational costs. This new advance that Montecon is putting into practice, is added to the payment of import services already implemented last year as a complement to the tool promoted by the National Customs Directorate, in order to move towards a 100% electronic processing, making operations in the Port of Montevideo more efficient. To start operating, you can contact the Customer Service Center, through 0800 0404 or css@montecon.com.uy, and if you already have a registered user, you can do it immediately.
HMM America Shipping Agency Inc. chose Montecon as port operator together with the agency Brings Uruguay, prioritising the level of service offered and the quality of attention to the shipowner that for more than two decades has been offered to its clients.
We have been recognised as a Great Place to Work® Certified™ Company, which represents shared pride and joy, because the vast majority of our staff have stated that Montecon is a great place to work.
Montecon launches new benefits for the export sector through measures targeting those cargoes that need cold supply and temperature control. These will start to be implemented from October 1st.
