We are proud to inform you that MONTECON has certified its Occupational Health and Safety management system, under the international standards of the OHSAS 18001:2007 Standard. The certification covers all the operations and processes and also includes the subcontracted suppliers included in the System.
The certifying organism LSQA (Latu Sistemas Quality Austria), identified great Strengths, such as the commitment of the Management and the application of proactive tools for the prevention of accidents, at the same time it left us several contributions, which enrich the System and contribute to its improvement. MONTECON becomes the FIRST Operator Company of the Port of Montevideo in the public areas, to obtain a recognition of this nature. This milestone is the achievement of all of us who are part of Montecon, that we live Safety as a basic premise, reaffirming the Work Safety Policy that states that nothing is more important than our own Life and we must not risk it.
