Montecon has completed the purchase of two new RTGs with the firm KALMAR. This is the latest generation of equipment that will contribute to higher levels of operational efficiency.
Following its committed investment plan, Montecon has recently signed a contract with the Finnish firm Kalmar for the purchase of 2 new RTG (Rubber Tyred Gantry) type cranes. These are two last generation equipments model E-ONE, nomenclature used to identify these totally electric and ecological cranes from the environmental emissions point of view. This is an effort basically focused on continuing improving the productivity and service level that Montecon offers to its clients and users, which only consolidates Montecon's leadership position in the Port of Montevideo.
